FS 101 (Required of all FS Employees)
FS 101 is a required course for all Facilities Services employees upon employement.

Workplace Safety
The Workplace Safety training(link is external)(link is external) is available as an eCourse through the UC Learning Center(link is external)(link is external). This one-time mandatory training for all campus employees (faculty, staff and student employees) provides valuable information on responsibilities, work-related injuries and illnesses, analyzing hazards and applying controls, what to do in a campus emergency, and resources available to you. EHS 702 Heat Illness
"Work in hot environments can have direct effects on human health including, heat exhaustion, reduced labor productivity, and heat stroke. All university employees who work outdoors or in environments with elevated indoor temperatures may be at risk for heat illness– the group of medical conditions caused by the body’s inability to cope with heat."

Berkeley Defensive Driver
UCB Property Management offers a Defensive Driver course.
As part of authorizing recurring campus drivers, the driver must first complete the campus’ safe driver training program found at: https://property.berkeley.edu/faq/driver-authorization/how-do-i-access-online-defensive-driver-training-course(link is external), and provide a copy of the certificate of completion to the Driver Data Coordinator.
