Safety

FS 101 (Required of all FS Employees)

FS 101 is a required course for all Facilities Services employees upon employement.

Workplace Safety

The Workplace Safety training(link is external)(link is external) is available as an eCourse through the UC Learning Center(link is external)(link is external). This one-time mandatory training for all campus employees (faculty, staff and student employees) provides valuable information on responsibilities, work-related injuries and illnesses, analyzing hazards and applying controls, what to do in a campus emergency, and resources available to you. EHS 702 Heat Illness

This course offers an overview of heat illness prevention. Topics include: Heat illness, Prevention, Procedures, Response, and Supervisors.

QWEL Certification

"QWEL (Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper) is program is an EPA WaterSense labeled professional certification in irrigation system audits. QWEL is a program of the Sonoma-Marin Saving Water Partnership, and is available through the many organizations that have adopted the program."
