License/Certification

  1. Technicians performing I.P.M. must possess a license to perform pest control.  Because the University is a State institution, we are requiring all IPM employees to have a Qualified Applicator License (Q.A.L.)  The Q.A.L. must be renewed every two years.

  • Cost for test to acquire QAL license - $180

  • Cost to renew QAL license - $120.

Prior to renewal of their QAL the technician must complete course work.  This is called "Continuing Education Hours".
