Systems and Services

FS IT manages a variety of systems related to project and work order management, Facilities Services operations, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), mapping, and drawings. Details on each of these systems are provided below. Information and links to common campus systems are also detailed below.

The University provides online communication tools such as bMail, bCal, bDrive, Box, and CalShare for faculty, staff, and students to share information and easily collaborate across campus.

Software Licensing

Did you know that Cal faculty and staff have a variety of collaboration, communication, and cloud-based collaboration services available at no cost? Through your bConnected account, you can access cloud-based services such as Google Apps, Box, Adobe, and Microsoft products, as well as security related software. Visit Software Central for specific eligibility requirements and download instructions, and Collaboration Services for cloud-based options.
